New Line Cinema Promotes Tracy Karagianis to Executive Vice President, Information Services, and Hobie Sheeder to Senior Vice President, Administrative Services
NEW YORK (July 18, 2007) New Line Cinema has promoted Tracy Karagianis to Executive Vice President, Information Services and Hobie Sheeder to Senior Vice President, Administrative Services, it was announced today by Karen Zimmer, New Line’s Senior Executive Vice President of Information Technology and Administrative Services.
“Tracy has been instrumental in adapting New Line to the ever-changing technology landscape and Hobie has successfully managed a multitude of critical day-to-day operations for the LA offices,” says Zimmer. “We are looking forward to working with them in their new roles.”
Karagianis, based in New York, has headed the Application Development staffs in both New York and Los Angeles for the past ten years. He will also assume responsibility for the technical services organizations including network, desktop computers, e-mail, all servers and data centers, telecom and videoconferencing . Previously, Karagianis created a systems portfolio which has supported New Line's business directions and growth. In addition, Vitaly Tsivin, recently promoted to Senior Vice President of Application Development, will report to Karagianis.
As Senior Vice President, Administrative Services, Sheeder will assume responsibility for the NY office in addition to LA. His responsibilities include managing all New Line facilities and space, office services, travel, reprographics & mailroom operations, vendor relations, real estate leases & subleases, space planning/construction, business continuity, security and audio/visual technology. Sheeder joined New Line in 2005 and most recently served as Vice President, Administration. He is based in Los Angeles.
