    New Line Cinema's Little Children Earns Three Golden Globe Nominations as Awards Season Kicks Off

    LOS ANGELES (December 15, 2006) – New Line Cinema’s Little Children garnered several recent honors including three Golden Globe nominations.

    Yesterday, Little Children received Golden Globe nominations for Best Drama; Kate Winslet for Best Actress in a Drama; and director Todd Field & Tom Perrotta for Best Screenplay. The 64th Annual Golden Globes will be presented on January 15, 2007.

    Additionally, the Broadcast Film Critics Assn. announced its nominations for the Critics Choice Awards on Tuesday.  Little Children earned three nominations from the Broadcast Film Critics Association including Best Picture, Actress (Winslet) and Writers (Field & Perrotta). The Critics Choice Awards will be broadcast on January 20, 2007

    The New York Film Critics Circle selected Jackie Earle Haley as Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of a convicted sex offender in Little Children.

    Rounding out the critics’ groups awards were kudos from the San Francisco Film Critics for Little Children in the Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Haley) and Best Screenplay categories.
