LOS ANGELES, CA (November 28, 2005) – The dangerous, fast-paced world of bounty hunting is at the heart of the explosive actioner Domino, which hits DVD on February 21, 2006, from New Line Home Entertainment. Starring Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean, Love Actually), the film is inspired by the life of Domino Harvey, a former model who rejected her privileged Beverly Hills life to become a bounty hunter. Along for the ride are Mickey Rourke (Sin City, Man on Fire), Christopher Walken (Wedding Crashers, Pulp Fiction), Lucy Liu (Charlie’s Angels, Kill Bill Vol. 1), Mena Suvari (American Beauty, American Pie), Mo'Nique (Hair Show, Soul Plane), Delroy Lindo (Gone in 60 Seconds, Romeo Must Die), Ian Ziering (TV’s Beverly Hills, 90210), Brian Austin Green (TV’s Freddy, Beverly Hills, 90210) and newcomer Edgar Ramirez. Directed by Tony Scott (Top Gun, True Romance), the DVD will feature deleted scenes, audio commentaries and an “I am a Bounty Hunter” featurette, which offers an up-close and personal interview with the real Domino Harvey. Domino will be available on DVD and UMD/PSP (PlayStation™ Portable) at a $27.95 SRP (with the VHS priced for rental), and the order due date is January 17, 2006.
SYNOPSIS
Domino Harvey (Knightley) was born into a life of wealth and privilege, but that wasn't the life she wanted. Leaving her modeling career and socialite family behind, Domino becomes a bounty hunter and joins an unusual gang of degenerates to hunt down and capture felonious bail jumpers. They become the most successful and infamous group of bounty hunters in Los Angeles, and, when they sign on to become the stars of a reality television show about their careers, they find their lives are seriously affected. What results is an action-packed chase to capture the most dangerous of fugitives and to get themselves out of an FBI investigation.
