    LOS ANGELES, CA (September 26, 2005) – Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back as lovable losers Lloyd and Harry in the New Line Home Entertainment Platinum Series™ DVD and UMD release of Dumb and Dumber: Unrated. With more than six minutes of never-before-seen footage woven back into the film and an additional 24 minutes of deleted scenes, alternate endings and a retrospective documentary featuring the cast of the film, Dumb and Dumber: Unrated is a must own for every comedy fan! Directed by the Farrelly brothers (There’s Something About Mary, Fever Pitch), the original Dumb and Dumber catapulted Jim Carrey to superstardom with the simple story of Lloyd (Carrey, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Mask) and Harry (Daniels, Pleasantville, Speed), best friends who decide to trek across country to return a suitcase of money to Lloyd’s dream girl. The theatrical release generated a box office take of more than $125 million, and classic lines from the movie have earned their place in pop culture vernacular. Dumb and Dumber: Unrated offers even wilder antics and more of the outrageous humor that made the film a modern day classic.

    Dumb and Dumber: Unrated is available January 3, 2006, on DVD ($19.97 SRP) and UMD ($19.98 SRP). The order due date is November 29, 2005.

    SYNOPSIS
    Best friends Lloyd (Carrey) and Harry (Daniels) are a pair of deliriously dim-witted pals on a cross country road trip to Aspen to return a briefcase full of cash to its rightful owner, Mary Swanson (Holly), a beautiful woman who ends up being Lloyd’s dream girl. Little does Lloyd know that Mary is in Aspen trying to find her kidnapped husband. Soon, the two get mixed up in the crime, and their wacky exploits are leading the FBI straight to the crooks!
